Digital I Ching (2013)

The Book of Changes (or I Ching) is a complex Taoist divination text based on a system of 64 hexagrams, which are comprised of un-broken or broken lines. In Digital I Ching, participants are invited to push a button that generates a prognostication, communicated through clusters of long and short flashes of light resembling the Morse code system. While reflecting on the affinities of modern and traditional knowledge systems, Digital I Ching also reflects on the commercialization of culture within a digital age.
